One of my passions is working with social workers who are new to the field and trying to find their way as a clinician. I provide clinical supervision to those in agency-based or private practice who are looking for a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space to deepen their clinical skills and explore their role as a clinician. In addition to my clinical work I have an extensive background in community and labor organizing, and I use an antiracist, queer-affirming, social justice lens to ground my work as a therapist and supervisor. I specialize in working with LGBTQ identified clinicians and clinicians of color.
I am SIFI certified and available to supervise social work interns in social service agencies or community based organizations.
In addition to individual supervision I also run a supervision group focusing on clinicians of color who are new(er) to the field (five years post-graduation and under), in private and agency-based practice. The group meets bi-weekly in Union Square and requires an on-going commitment.
